What SYNC version is installed in my Lincoln vehicle?

You can find your SYNC®* software version with your in-vehicle SYNC screen using the instructions in this article.

Locating your vehicle's SYNC software version can help determine the appropriate troubleshooting steps or verify whether a SYNC update is available.

Finding the Software Version with SYNC

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to find your SYNC software version using your in-vehicle screen. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

Either:

  • Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and select Check for update.
  • Log in with your Lincoln credentials, choose a vehicle from your garage, and select Check for updates.

Your SYNC generation will appear on the right-hand side of the page.

  1. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.

SYNC con navegación activada por voz

Para localizar la versión de software de SYNC con navegación activada por voz del vehículo:

  1. Tap the Phone button.
  2. Presiona Settings (Configuración). Es posible que tengas que hacer esto dos veces según si un teléfono está conectado o no.
  3. Selecciona Advanced (Avanzada).
  4. Toca la flecha hacia abajo dos veces.
  5. Presiona System Information (Información del sistema).

SYNC con navegación versión P

Para localizar la versión de software de SYNC con navegación versión P:

  1. Press the Phone button.
  2. Toca Configuración.

  3. Selecciona Advanced (Avanzada).
  4. Press the down arrow twice and press System Information.

Para localizar la versión de software SYNC gen. 1.1 del vehículo:

  1. Tap the Menu button.

SYNC Gen 1

Para localizar la versión de software SYNC gen. 1 del vehículo:

  1. Press the AUX button until the screen displays Line In, then Press Menu.
  2. Ve hasta System Settings (Configuración del sistema), luego toca OK.
  3. Ve hasta Advanced (Avanzada), luego selecciona OK.
  4. Ve hasta System Info (Información del sistema), luego presiona OK.
  5. Ve hasta FPN number (Número FPN), luego toca OK. Quizás tengas que presionar el botón de texto si el número está cortado.
